Some of the strongest year-on-year sales price growth in Auckland last month was seen in the west, according to Crockers’ latest research.
It has released its latest data on Auckland sales prices, which showed Henderson had a 28% increase in median sales price between 2012 and 2013, increasing from $62,500 in February last year to a median of $464, 250 this year.
Nearby Upper Harbour also had a big increase, with median prices rising 31% from $490,000 last February to $640,000 this year.
Devonport also reported a strong lift in median sales price, going from $795,000 last year to more than $1 million this February.
Rodney, Ellerslie, Onehunga and Papakura had big increases in turnover. Rodney North reported 39% more sales this year than last, Ellerslie 35% more, Onehunga 65% more and Papakura 56% more.
The Waitakeres had 300% more but that was from just one sale last February.
