Auckland rents play catch up

April rental statistics from the Bond Centre have been released. You can see how your property rental prices have changed over the years at the rental price calculator on the NZPIF website. As at April 2023, the national rental price was relatively stable at $570pw, an increase of around 3% over the last year. Quite modest considering interest rate increases and further removal of interest deductibility.

What's good for the goose by NZPIF President Sue Harrison

There have been so many levers pulled to ensure that house prices come down while interest rates, rates, insurance, maintenance and associated costs have gone up.
