After receiving an increasing amount of calls from landlords worrying about not having properties rented for 2019 we are holding a surprise pop up meeting to try and help the panicked and worried. Come along to an informal meeting to have a chat about renting for 2019. Bring along photos of your properties and prices etc or a trade me listing number and we will have a chat about each property to help each other get them rented for 2019. Whether it is suggested work that you could do or pricing issues or just lack of advertising. So come along and for an excellent workshop with like minded student landlords. Do you know what you can and can do when picking your tenants? With the increasing amount of false identity cases on the rise it has never be more important to do the right checks, right procedures and get the paperwork in order. Must register workshop limited to max 25pax you cannot turn up without registering online. due to limited space. If there is alot of interest we will run more.

Come along to a social event at 6.30pm at Cobb and Co to mark the first half of a wonderful year with the OPIA we will be having a sit down dinner with a two course set menu with gluten free options (if you are vegan please let the office know before the night as they are going to make something special for you). Must register and pay before the 27th July. $36 each for two courses (main and desert) and there will be a cash bar. We are in the private room so come along and have a great time catching up with other investors. After our wonderful Christmas dinner last year it will be a great evening again.
Make a point of joining our business partners, tradespeople and advertisers for a closer look into their new products and services. Also see more efficient ways of going about your renovations. There will be ample opportunity to chat with the presenters while they update you and showcase their latest catalogues. Of course no event would be complete without giving away some great prizes on the night including a shower dome, $150 cleaning voucher, wine and more. Come along and join in the fun, learn something new from the various stall holders and enjoy the evening.

Daryl is both a former regional representative and former President of the New Zealand Property Investors Federation.
