There are changes to some parts of the NZ Building Code Acceptable Solutions, particularly for C- Protection from Fire, G12 – Water Supplies, which come into effect on 3 November 2024.
Learn about the changes and how they may affect your property and future renovations.
These changes include the type and number of smoke alarms, removal of deadbolts on fire exits, and hot water temperature for hand basins, baths and showers.
Come to an informative, interactive workshop to give you access to resources and tools to apply these changes, if required to your rentals. This workshop will also touch on relevant aspects of the NZ Building Act 2004 (Building Act 101) and work able to be done without Building Consent (Exempt Work- Building Act 102).
