Mitre 10 Mega have kindly sponsored this years OPIA Walking Tour.
The location of this years walking tour commences at 44 Dundas Street, 6pm sharp. This is the location of a development by OPIA member Mark Thom (you will have seen the project early stages during the bus trip). Two "units" are now completed, the rest are in various stages of construction. All have been rented for 2017.
As this is a health and safety conscious construction site please wear suitable footwear, upon entering the completed units you will need to remove your shoes. Extreme care must be taken at all times while on this construction site.
Depending on the weather ... which we cannot control .... the remainder of the evening will remain a secret for now ....until we conclude the tour at the
Iconic Captain Cook Tavern located at 354 Great King Street - for a chat and supper. The "Cook" has been totally renovated and reopened a few months ago. When considering where to park please be aware there are 4 blocks between Dundas Street and the Captain Cook.
For catering purposes please register to attend. OPIA members who register will be given a drink discount voucher. Register at secretary@opia.org.nz or phone and leave a message on 477-6220. Registrations close on Tuesday 15th November
