Welcome to the 42nd Annual General Meeting of the OPIA. Following on from the AGM we will hear from Angela Strang of Southland who won the MBIE Landlord of the Year competition in 2015. Angela started investing at an early age and now has a solid property portfolio which has enabled her to become the mistress of her own destiny. As the oldest child of a solo parent on the domestic purposes benefit, she developed self-reliance and an entrepreneurial bent at a young age. In the past, those traits have led her to drive tractors in the UK and put in the hard yards in Western Australia’s tough mining industry. But these days they serve her well as she manages, maintains and further cultivates her investment property holdings. Lots going on

There have been a few changes lately and it'll take a while to get the manual updated. The downloads now let you preview who will be in the downloaded file - assumes "members" and not "membership" though We've launched an app for the members to use. Local Associations can have their own submenus - get in touch about that. On your dashboard you can see how many of your members are using the app. Events have had a lot of work done and you can now decide which fields are on the registration forms and in which order they are shown.

Aburns Glass Hosted Event

Aburns Glass provide a crystal clear single or double glazed view of the world. They are glaziers, glass merchants and auto glass specialists who offer an extensive range of glass products and services. Aburns Glass Industries was established in 1898 by Samuel F Aburn, at its foundation the company was situated in the same block as the OPIA office at 389 Princes Street. In 1927, Aburns Glass opened a plate glass factory on the corner of Carroll and Hope Streets where glass beveling, mirror and leadlight manufacturing and glass bending was carried out.
