  • OPIA Christmas Dinner at the Otago Yacht Club 30 November 2024
    Christmas Function at Otago Yacht Club 6pm Pre-dinner mingle and drinks followed by canapes, buffet main course, dessert, tea and coffee. Free Beer, Wine and soft drinks will be provided. There will be draws for Xmas gifts donated by some of our local sponsors. We are collecting donations for the food bank so it would be appreciated if you could bring something along. Costs $65pp members $75pp non members

  • Landlord of the Year 2023- Nicki Smith
    Landlord of the Year 2023- Nicki Smith An accidental Landlord who joined her local PIA to learn what she needed to do to be a good landlord. Nicki's journey from one to three properties in quick succession got her hooked on property not only as a form of income, but a way to quit her day job, and provide homes for amazing families and micro-communities. Eight years on she has won the 2023 NZPIF Rentskills Supreme Award - Landlord of the Year, and built a successful property management business alongside giving back to her local PIA serving on the committee as their President.

  • AGM & Core Logic- Kelvin Davidson
    Kelvin joined CoreLogic in March 2018 as Senior Research Analyst, before moving into his current role of Chief Economist. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent 15 years working largely in private sector economic consultancies in both New Zealand and the UK. Kelvin is well practiced in applying macroeconomic trends and data to the property market, both residential and commercial. In his role with CoreLogic Kelvin's focus is on keeping up to date with what’s going on in the property market and continually finding different ways for viewing and interpreting it. Kelvin's economics background means that he knows his way around a spreadsheet, but more importantly he always puts more emphasis on providing the key insights and telling a story, whether his audience be clients or the media. Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours majoring in Economics from University of Canterbury.
